Digital learning platform provider BibliU (London, UK) in April secured $10 million in a Series A equity round led by Nesta Impact Investments, a European early stage ed-tech investor. The round included Guinness Asset Management, direct investment clients of Stonehage Fleming and ClearlySo. BibliU has raised $15 million in venture capital since its 2013 founding. With the investment, Lisa Barclay from Nesta joined the BibliU board of directors, joining Sean Devine, former president and CEO of digital course materials platform provider CourseSmart, who was named chairman of the BibliU board in 2019, and Oxford Sciences Innovation, BibliU's original investor.
